  4. Please review the following information before installing The DeskTop
  5. Set evaluation version:
  6.  
  7. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  8.  
  9. * Microsoft Windows 3.0 or higher
  10. * A hard disk with at least 850K of free space
  11. * Hercules, EGA, VGA, 800x600 or 1024x768 graphics card.  The program
  12.   isn't compatible with CGA
  13. * Mouse or compatible pointing device (optional)
  14. * Hayes-compatible modem (optional)
  15.  
  16. INSTALLING THE DESKTOP SET:
  17.  
  18. Since the installation program automatically locates the Windows
  19. directory and the drive that contains the installation diskette,
  20. only a few simple steps are required:
  21.  
  22. * Start Windows.
  23. * Insert the DeskTop Set diskette into A or B disk drive.
  24.  
  25. If you are using Program Manager,
  26. --------------------------------
  27. * Select Run... command from the File menu
  28. * Type A:\INSTALL (or B:\INSTALL) into the Run field of the dialog box
  29.   that appears, then press the Enter key or click the Ok button.

  31. If you are using File Manager,
  32. ------------------------------
  33. * Click the icon of the A or B disk (whichever contains the DeskTop Set installation disk)
  34. * Double-click the A.. folder (or B.. folder) to view its contents,
  35.   then double-click INSTALL.EXE
  36.  
  37. All information that you may enter into the Phone Book or Calendar is
  38. 100% compatible with the commercial version of The DeskTop Set.
  39.  
  40. Feel free to copy and pass the evaluation disk to your friends and
  41. colleagues.
